During the day I am a middle school counselor in the Empire School District. I also teach at Chapman University and CSU Stanislaus, sharing stories about children and ways to help them through their sorrows and celebrate their joy.
“When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”
I have a Bachelors degree in Child Development, a Masters in Education with a Pupil Personnel Credential and Administrative credential, and I earned a Doctorate in Philosophy with a concentration in Educational Counseling.
My work as a mom, a wife, a sister, a counselor, and/or a teacher is to bring hope, hope that foster’s resilience to persevere through our challenges toward our dreams and goals. I hope that each day we meet in class I bring you hope that leads you closer to your goals.
Today, may I be part of someone’s lifetime memory….unknown
